About the role
You will lead design on client engagements from discovery through implementation review, working beside engineers rather than throwing files over a wall. Expect to defend decisions with reasoning and to change your mind when the reasoning is better.
What you'll do
- Run discovery workshops and turn findings into product direction
- Design end-to-end flows including empty, loading, error and overflow states
- Build and maintain design token systems and component libraries
- Specify motion in values engineers can implement
- Stay involved through build to protect fidelity
What we're looking for
- 4+ years designing digital products, not just marketing pages
- A portfolio showing structure and reasoning, not only final screens
- Fluency with design systems and tokens
- Working understanding of what is cheap and expensive to build
- Clear written communication
Nice to have
- Ability to prototype in code
- Motion design background
- Experience in hospitality or SaaS products
